For the two projects that we just completed, we used CORE as a faster and less expensive alternative to concrete. One is a walking pathway, giving better access to one of tenants' front door (with accessibility in mind here). For the second project, we identified that we had two wheelchair users in two separate units that couldn't use their back exit. So we built a ramp and used CORE as a landing at the base of the ramp. This way they have a second fire escape and can use this space if they wish to. At some point we are going to make our community garden even easier for our chair users and seniors to move around.
